Kairos Business Services Limited is currently recruiting to fill the following position:

Position: Health, Safety & Environment manager (HSE) Manager.

Location: Lagos State -- Nigeria.

Job Type: Full Time.

Job Description:
Will be responsible for crafting and implementing the Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and practices of the company and ensure compliance with all legislations and the law
Will be required to advise management on the implications of current and emerging health, safety and environment legislation and generate operational plans to ensure company-wide compliance
Will design processes for proactively tracking and reporting non-compliance as well as oversee all locations to ensure accidents, environmental incidents and near misses are documented, reported, investigated and satisfactorily resolved
Will oversee provision of induction, daily safety drills, training-of-trainer sessions, meeting facilitation on HSE and prepare scheduled reports on HSE culture and compliance on regular basis.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OSHE), Engineering or Social Sciences and related safety certifications. Up-to-date membership of acceptable professional bodies is an added advantage
Demonstrable competence in OHSE, total quality management, project management, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, communications skills, teamwork
Minimum of 10 years progressive related experience, five of which must have been as a team leader
