Zamburg Engineering Consult Group is currently recruiting to fill the following position:

Position: Health and Safety Officers

Job Description:
investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
undertaking risk assessments and site inspections
ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
determining ways of reducing risks
drawing-up safe operational practices and making necessary changes
providing health and safety meetings and training courses for employees
keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
writing internal health and safety policies/strategies

Qualifications/Requirements:
A degree/HND in Biological Sciences. etc
A minimum of 1yr of working experience
Must be resident in Lagos
A minimum of second class lower degree/equivalent
Desired skills:
Calm, patient and assertive
Excellent negotiation skill
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Physically fit, IT literate and capable of acquiring and applying detailed legal, technical and regulatory information.
