A leading pharmaceutical company in Nigeria, as a result of expansion is currently recruiting to fill the following position:
Position: National Sales Manager
Locations: Lagos cum Western Nigeria.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Achieve set marketing and sales targets by developing marketing strategies for business development, generating new business plans for increasing customer base in new markets/ Segments.
Plan and manage clinical presentations.
Manage sales and medical representatives effectively across the nation.
Improve product/services marketability and profitability by crafting the brand strategy, improving the brand image of the existing products, launch and establish new brands in the markets
Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitors share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
Must be able to hand the research & development functions, trade marketing industry performance rating etc
Qualifications/Requirements:
B.Pharm/MBA/MSc
Minimum of 8-10 years relevant work experience
Industry Required For the Work Experience: Pharmaceutical
Required Competency and Work Skills:
Applicants must possess proven sales and marketing skills, be adequately skilled in numeracy, ability to deal effectively with people and communicate clearly in non-technical language, superb research skills and proven leadership skills, and strong analytical skills to determine effective business solutions.
