New Born Survives Fall From Moving Train Soon After Birth on HWN WONDERS
New-Born-Survives-Fall-From-Moving-Train-Soon-After-Birth-on-HWN-WONDERS

The Times of India reports that a pregnant woman on board 52204 Tankapur Izzat Nagar train at Bhojipura railway station went into sudden child labour and eventually gave birth to a baby girl inside the train’s toilet.

It was said that the new born baby slipped and fell on the tracks from the moving train, but survived the fall. The baby was quickly rushed to local hospital for medical attention.

Other passengers on board the train heard her crying for help and rush to her while the locomotive moves on. Getting to her, they discovered her bleeding seriously, while she kept telling them to stop the train. Some of the passengers reportedly pulled the alarm chain and the train stopped. Some of the passengers discovered the baby and found out that she was still alive.

The baby and her mother were quickly taken to a close primary health centre (PHC) after the Government Railway Police (GRP) was informed of what happened. The victims are said to be receiving treatment from a team of doctors, including PHC in charge Dr Saurabh Singh.

It was gathered that the baby’s mother Pushpa Devi, is a resident of Mohan Nagar Bhagatpur of Kanchanpur district in Nepal. According to her, she was on her way to Bareilly for an eye check-up when she suddenly went into labour.

The lucky mother said she supports herself by doing odd jobs in the neighbourhood since her husband deserted her.

The health centre was reportedly crowded as local residents made frantic effort to see the “miracle baby,” with some expressing desire to adopt her.

Reacting to the incident, Chandra Mohan Jindal, TOI, divisional railway manager, Izzat Nagar division said: “It is a miracle that the newborn girl, after falling on concrete boulders of the track from such a height, survived. The GRP and fellow passengers did a commendable job by immediately rushing both the mother and the child to hospital.”

In a related development, since there is indeed miracle as experienced by this new born bay, a 43-year-old man named Kanai Das, was born with a rare genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis which has severely disfigured his face, making him look like the elephant God known as Lord Ganesha is also praying for miracle to return to normal.
