Federal ministry of health instructs medical directors to pay teaching allowance on HWN FLASH

The office of the permanent secretary of the Federal ministry of health has issued a second circular on the issue of payment of Teaching allownace. The circular with Ref No: C.2262/T/110 was dated 29th July 2015 and made available to HWN Africa.

Addressed to all chief medical directors/Medical directors and Federal tertiary health institutions and titled RE: PAYMENT OF TEACHING ALLOWANCE, it reads:

A recent audit alarm extended to the federal ministry of health has alerted that payment of teaching allowance is not being implemented according to the extant circulars released by the national salaries income and wages commission (NSIWC) dates 4th july 2014 Ref. No. SWC/S/04/S.176/T/17

You are hereby directed by this notice to correct such irregularities and ensure strick compliance with the aforementioned circular and official circulars relevant to the subject matter as defaulting CMD/MDs will be held accountable for recovering the funds
