Terrible body odour was the case on HWN JUSTICE

A man in Lagos has filed for divorce from his wife because she has terrible body odor.

According to court documents, the 55-year-old man identified as Elder Moses Ajuwa filed for divorce because his 30-year-old wife, Hauwa smells bad and is very lazy.

Ajuwa told a Lagos Family Court, that his wife has made it impossible for him to continue sleeping with her in their matrimonial bed and wants the court to dissolve his three-year-old marriage to her.

He added that asides her terrible body odor, Hauwa has not fulfilled her obligations as a married woman. She never cooks, and always goes out to party.

Ajuwa told the court that he decided to remarry after his first wife died.

He claimed she hardly takes her bath and the house is filled with her dirty clothes. He has also been unable to have sex with her because of the stench.

Hauwa however denied all the allegations saying her husband always wants her to dress like an older woman despite the fact that she is just 30 years old.

She also added that it is difficult to clean the house because it is too large.

The court reportedly gave the couple two months to see if they can resolve their issues and then adjourned the case.
