Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) is currently recruiting to fill the following positions:

Position 1: Chief Medical Director

Qualifications/requirements:
The candidate must be a qualified Medical Doctor registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for a period of not less than ten years and possess a postgraduate medical qualification of not less than five years prior to the date of this advert.
In addition, he must show evidence of cognitive administrative experience in a tertiary medical institution.

Position 2: Director of Administration

Qualifications/Requirements:
Interested candidates should possess a good Honours Degree in either Hospital/Health Services Management of the Humanities or the Social Sciences from a recognized University, with a minimum of twenty years of cognate administrative experience in a Teaching Hospital or any other institution of similar status.
A relevant postgraduate degree or professional qualification is an added advantage.
Candidates below the grade of Assistant Director of Administration need not apply.

Position 3: Chief Pharmacist

Qualifications/Requirements:
The candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist of not less than ten years experience on the job.
 He must also possess at least five years cognitive experience in a tertiary health institution.

Position 4: Director of Nursing

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates must possess a B.NSc Degree in Nursing from a recognized University in addition to the registration of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCM).
They must also possess a current practicing License from the Council.
In addition, candidates must have been Assistant Director (Nursing Services) with at least four years of cognate working experience in a tertiary health institution.

Position 5: Dietetic Kitchen Technologist

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates applying for the position of Technologist must possess HND in Human Nutrition and Dietetic with cognate experience in a dietetics kitchen.

Position 6: Laboratory Assistant/ Technician

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates applying for this position must possess minimum of four credit pass including chemistry and biology at senior secondary school certificate level and an OND certificate in Science Laboratory Technology with a minimum of upper credit from a reputable polytechnic.

Position 7: Laboratory Technologist (Analytical Laboratory).

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates applying for the position of Technologist must possess HND certificate in Science Laboratory Technology Technology (Applied Chemistry option) with a minimum of upper credit from a reputable polytechnic with cognate experience in handling laboratory equipment and appliances.
Relevant addition degree is an added advantage.

Position 8: Laboratory Technologist (Dietetics Kitchen)

Qualifications/requirements:
Candidate for this position must possess HND Certificate in Human Nutrition and dietetics with a minimum of upper credit from reputable polytechnic, with at least one year cognate experience.
Relevant addition degree is an added advantage.

Salary Package For All Positions:
Salary and allowances which are personal and negotiable are higher than Federal Government Consolidated Unitary Salary Structure.
Salary increment is based on productivity and contribution to the development of the University.
Retirement, Pension and Other Welfare Schemes
The University operates a contributory Pension Fund as enacted by the Act of the National Assembly. It is mandatory for all tenure staff to take part in the contributory pension scheme.
The University shall pay 71/2 of the staff monthly basic salary to the pension fund while the staff shall pay 71/12 towards the fund. The University also has in place insurance scheme for all staff. a staff shall not be hindered by the University from drawing from the pension and insurance schemes irrespective of the service status of the University.
In addition, the University offers highly subsidized accommodation facilities for staff on the campus with adequate water and electric supply, sports and recreational facilities in a quiet and serene environment.
