As respect is being paid all around the world to Blues legend B.B. King, who died in Las Vegas aged 89, confirmed by his lawyer.
His Attorney, Brent Bryson, said King died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday at his Clark County, Nevad home in Las Vegas.
Popularly regarded as the ‘King Of Blues’, B.B King sold millions of records worldwide, won 15 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
He was also given a spot in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 1990. A legendary bluesman, B.B King was always seen with his famous guitar ” Lucille“. The first Blues musician to be honoured with the Kennedy Lifetime Achievement award in 1995, B.B King was also decorated in 2008 with the Presidential Medal Of Freedom by President George W. Bush, for his contribution to music.
Social media in particular keeps buzzing as messages keeps pouring all around the world in respect of the late musician.
