A woman was in terrible pain and felt her abdomen vibrating following a Cesarean section in a hospital in Jordan.
36-year-old Hanan Mahmoud Abdul Karim was admitted to a private hospital in Amman, as she prepared to give birth to her child.
During the procedure, the gynecologist somehow misplaced his cellphone, and it ended up in the abdomen of the woman. Karim was released from the hospital after giving birth to the 10.5 pound baby.
She began suffering from severe pain and could not move. Her family took her back to the hospital, but nothing was done for her.
Karim was then admitted to the emergency room of the Al Bashir public hospital, where Xrays revealed a foreign object in the abdomen.
Doctors in the hospital operated on the woman and removed the phone.
Health Ministry spokesman Hatem Al Azrae denied the allegations, saying that woman’s story is baseless and fabricated.
