This according to the body is to effectively control the quality of both locally manufactured and imported drugs in Nigeria.
The National President of the council, Mr Nurudeen Mohammed, gave the hint during a session with reporters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Mr Mohammed said that efforts were currently ongoing to coordinate all wholesale drug centres for proper regulation.
He also told reporters that the council had shut down over a thousand pharmacies in 2015 and suspended three of its members over unprofessional conducts.
