Legendary Hollywood actress Maureen OHara has died at the age of 95.
The Irish actress was born in Ireland in 1920 and went on to star in dozens of films including Miracle on 34th Street, The Quiet Man, and How Green Was My Valley.
According a statement by her family, She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family as they celebrated her life listening to music from her favorite movie, The Quiet Man.
Her characters were feisty and fearless, just as she was in real life. She was also proudly Irish and spent her entire lifetime sharing her heritage and the wonderful culture of the Emerald Isle with the world.
Maureen is a recipient of a Honorary Oscar which was awarded at last years Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards.
