Uchenna Ogbu (Urchman), UNIZIK Medical Student Succumbs To Gas Explosion Burns on HWN UPDATE

Friends and well wishers from Anambra state and Beyond have been sending tributes online about the death of Uchenna Ogbu (Urchman), a UNIZIK 500 Level Medical Student.

Personally, I feel great pain in my soul. I never thought I’d ever write this post.

I remember the times when Urch would come to my room and we and my guys would cook and he did eat with us. I remember the times he did even bring the money for the food, or buy wine, and we did hail him, ‘Urch Urch’.

Even when things were glaringly going wrong, he did calmly say ‘O nwero’.

He was that strong. He was such a fighter. I was so convinced he would pull through. This pain in my soul wouldn’t be going away too soon.


Urch had been in Enugu and was responding to treatment before his shocking death.
