Resident doctors at Federal Medical Center Yenagoa, Bayelsa state - Nigeria today (8:00am) commenced an indefinite strike.
The stated several reasons why they commenced strike action. Which includes but not limited to the following:
Shot fall in salaries, promotion arrears, lack of workers welfare amongst several other reasons.
At about 2:00pm today, virtually all healthcare professionals received bank alertz of promotional arrears being paid in full.
