The present Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) Amodu Shaibu has died at the age of 58.
The four – time Coach of the Super Eagles complained of chest pains on Friday night and died in his sleep.
Amodu Shaibu’s death comes three days after the death of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi.
Amodu Shaibu had Coach Keshi as his assistant at the 2002 Cup of Nations in Mali.
He was born on April 18th 1958 and played as a striker for Dumez and Niger Tornadoes before ending his career after a leg injury.
He has managed clubs like Shooting Stars, BCC Lions, El Kanemi Warriors, Sharks F.C and Orlando Pirates of South Africa
The late Amodu Shaibu will buried today the 11th of June, 2016 by 4pm, at his home town in Okpella, Edo State - Nigeria, according to Islamic rights.
