Pastor Augustine Mendie forced to marry corpse of dead woman on HWN MARR

A pastor in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria has been forced to marry the corpse of a dead woman whom he impregnated and then forced her to swallow fatal abortion pills.

The man identified as Augustine Mendie had a sexual relationship with the deceased who is a member of his church and then got her pregnant.

Mendie, who is the General Supervisor of a Pentecostal church in the state and is married with children has been accused by his members of sleeping with single and married women in his church.

His illicit activities became public after the deceased got pregnant. Refusing to accept responsibility, he gave her abortions pills and forced her to take them which resulted in a very painful death.

The deceased’s friend broke the news to the church congregation and they mobbed the pastor, forcing him to marry the corpse of the dead female church member.
